Rinpoche spent the Western holiday season, just past, in Vancouver, Canada, where he kept up a full schedule of empowerments (wang and lung), pujas, talks, and interviews. Above, he is seen with students in Richmond, British Columbia.
The program began on December 19th with a Guru Rinpoche Rigdzin Dupa'i empowerment, followed by Dakini Yumka Dechen Gyalmo the next day. The day after Christmas, Rinpoche conducted a full Ganachakrea Puja, followed by the Chi bLu life ransom ritual on the 27th. On January 2, he bestowed the Vajra Dakini empowerment, followed by a dharma talk on the 3rd. On the 9th, he performed the Dakini Yumka Dechen Gyalmo Ganachakra Puja, followed by an extensive jin sek on the 10th.
